Built an original clay 3D printer together with an industrial design student. Calculated the gear ratios, predicted print outcomes, and experimented to find the perfect mixture of clay.

Tetris

A Simple Version of the Tetris Game (Autumn 2017)

The focuses of this project were to design the GUI, giving the old game a new look (by personalizing it), and the controlling aspect of the game.

Auction Central

An Auction Management System with GUI (Spring 2018 – Software Development)

As a team, we followed the Agile development methodology and went through the process of interviewing the client and built a program that handles auction scheduling and online auction transactions.

Throughout the course, we focused on attending to the client’s needs, refactoring codes, and designing the GUI so that it’s easy to understand and has the least redundancy.

Since the intended use of this program is finance related, the correctness and reliability were also our main focuses.

Klingon POS Tagger

A Program that predicts the POS of an unknown sentence using the Viterbi algorithm (Summer 2018)

Built a Hidden Markov Model part-of-speech tagging program that tags Klingon sentences.

Tweets Analyzer

A Program that Analyzes Tweets of Topic of Interest (Summer 2018 – Natural Language Processing)

Utilized NLTK and VADER to perform sentiment analysis on tweets about movies to produce a numeric review score.
